The PTA Annual General Meeting will take place on Monday 1st October starting at 7pm.
The meeting is open to all parents and will be an opportunity to hear what the PTA have done over the last year to raise funds for the school and what that money has been used for. This will also be the time for election of the posts on the committee
As our PTA is a charity, all committee members must be in a position to be a trustee. The Charity Commission state:
You must not act as a trustee if you are disqualified under the Charities Act, including if you:
have an unspent conviction for an offence involving dishonesty or deception (such as fraud)
are bankrupt or have entered into a formal arrangement (eg an individual voluntary arrangement) with a creditor
have been removed as a company director or charity trustee because of wrongdoing
To nominate yourself or someone to a committee position, please complete the form at the link below.
Closing Date for nominations is 5pm on 1st October. In the event of there being more nominations than positions, a vote will be held at the AGM.
We hope that you will consider joining the committee or certainly supporting the PTA through the events that we provide throughout the year to enrich the experiences for our children.
