Ahoy there! Last Friday, the children designed boats and ships based on those we have seen in the battles of Troy, Hastings and Trafalgar. In case the message did not quite make it home, the boats are due back by Friday 30th when we will be testing their sea-worthiness (for those needing extra time we can have a later sailing a week later). Designs are there as guidance. Children have based them on real boats and on the scientific testing of floating and sinking materials. If you feel that you and your child would like to ammend the designs, please feel free. We have many boats brought in already and they look great (but will they float?). We will post our results here next week. Watch this space.
