'I wanted to write in thanks of the excellent Friday afternoon Social Circle that my daughter has been attending on the occasions I've been deployed. My job takes me away frequently and often out of any form of contact, so it is reassuring to know that she is cared for by an outstanding team of teaching staff, and in particular Mrs Rodulson.
We've seen an enormous change in our daughter since her attendance at the Social Circle; she's become a more thoughtful, polite and affectionate little girl who unconditionally accepts any of my enforced absences. Mixing with other children in similar situations and feeling part of what she sees as a 'special club' has certainly helped us as a family and ensures her childhood is a happy one.
We move on at Christmas and will be sad to leave RAF Benson School pupils and staff behind. Please pass on our thanks to all and best wishes for the future.'
