Welcome back to school for the Summer Term! We hope you had an enjoyable Easter holiday.
Our topic for this term is 'The Roman Invasion'. We will be learning about The Roman Empire and its impact on Britain in History as well as our English text linking with the Romans too. We also have lots of exciting learning and events coming up so please do check back on this page for photos in the coming weeks.
For more information about our learning this half term, please see the Topic Web and Knowledge Organiser below.
A reminder to also please continue reading daily at home with your child for at least 10-15 minutes and a parent/carer to mark this in their reading record. In the classroom, we will be continuing with our reading wall where we now have a Reading Roman Road where the children will reach different Roman landmarks depending on how many reads they have in their reading records!
Apache class went on a fantastic school trip to the Ashmolean Museum to learn more about the Romans and their impact on Britain. the class were able to look and hold different Roman artefacts and go on an artefact hunt.
