Photos of our learning
In maths we have been doing lots of number work. We have been partitioning numbers into tens and ones, representing numbers using different equipment, comparing numbers and explaining how we know one is larger than another, spelling numbers up to 20 and adding and subtracting numbers over the ten by partitioning. In PE we have been focusing on throwing and catching skills and applying these to game situations.

During topic lessons, we have been learning about Royal history. We learned about difficult and revolting jobs people had to do for the royals including making chain mail, getting purple dye from rotten shellfish and washing wool in urine!
