Geography:
In Geography, we will be locating the continents of North and South America on a map and identifying the countries and geographical landmarks of North America. Then, we will learn about the different biomes across the U.S.A., including how these affect the land use and trade. Afterwards, we will identify the human and physical features of some states. Finally, we will write a plan for a journey to a place in another part of the world, taking account of distance and time.
History:
In History, we will be discussing the role of parliament as well as how crime and punishment have changed over time in England.
Design and Technology:
In Design and Technology, we will first research different containers and evaluate their materials. We will then design our own containers that could hold water for a cowboy’s horse to drink. Finally, we will each create a container.
