This term we are focusing on the "Magnificent Mayans", we are looking at their history, art work, their cultures and religions as well as looking at their food and drink.

We made our own Maya Masks
We worked out the Maya Number system
We made our own Maya Gods to worship
We also invented some of our own Maya Glyphs
We also looked at Human and Animal Sacrifice
We have had a fantastic term studying the Maya and the children have created some outstanding pieces of work.
We rounded it all off with some class presentations on what they each found the most interesting.
