Apache Class of Witchcraft and Wizardry
This term we will be exploring the magical world of Harry Potter!
On Friday 15th September we will be having a class WOW! Day to design and create our book corner. We will also be dressing up as magical characters, so no school uniform is required on this day. Please don't spend a fortune on expensive Harry Potter costumes - we love things that are home-made!
The book corner will be transformed into Hogwarts, so if you have anything you would like to contribute to help Year 4 win the book corner competition and gain new books for the children, we would be very grateful! 
In English we will begin the year looking at setting descriptions and broadening our vocabulary, while refreshing our grammatical knowledge of different elements of sentence structure. Maths will focus on number and place value, before moving on to addition and subtraction.
We also have a magical class trip planned...more information will be revealed soon!
