John William Stacey Cross Country Race 2018
A fab morning was had at the 14th John William Stacey Cross Country Race. This is a great event for our community as we invite other children from local schools to participate and enjoy a morning celebrating cross country running.
This year we had 23 schools represented and over 260 runners in total - this is such a great achievement - especially on a grey drizzly day!! However, the PTA providing delicious bacon baps, tea, coffee and cakes cheered everyone's spirits up!
Our children showed true grit and determination out on the course today and we are very proud of them all. As a result of their growth mindsets, the team won the trophy yet again! We are all very delighted and we look forward to the race again next time.
