Spring 2 Magnificent Monarchs
This term we will be looking at two of the united kingdoms longest reigning monarchs. Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II. We will compare their lives and learn about significant events during their reigns. To support our learning we will be going on a school visit to Windsor Castle (we cant wait to show you the pictures!) Continuing our royal theme in art we will look at the portrait artist Joshua Reynolds who will inspire us to make our very own royal portraits.
World Book Day 2024
Windsor Castle
We had lots of fun on our school trip to Windsor castle, Although it was cold and VERY wet, we were able to explore the area and we enjoyed our learning session all about Queen Victoria. We weren't allowed to take any photos whilst we were inside the castle but we enjoyed seeing the amazingly decorated rooms and the beautiful portraits. Unfortunately the king wasn't in but we waved just incase.
