Shoots and Roots
We are into the final term of Year 3 and we are ready to GROW into Year 4! Our Topic this term is all about plants and growth. We will be looking more closely not at what plants need but instead, how much! Also, we will explore different types of printing to produce beautiful art as well as explore some of the worlds biomes!
In English, we will explore the wonderful world of traditional tales focusing more on Jack and the Beanstalk. However, in year 3, there'll be a twist! After comparing 3 'alternative' Jack and the Beanstalk stories, we will create our own by changing one thing from the traditional tale. Finally, we will plan, draft, edit and publish our own alternative traditional story based off of another well known story such as 'Little Red Riding Hood' or 'Cinderella'.
