We have been thinking back to World War One this week as the whole school have been finding out about different parts of the war.
We found out all about the animals that helped during the war. We then created some collages and watercolours, showing the work of the horses in the war. Some of these pictures were included in the exhibition at Benson Parish Hall on Saturday 20th September, along with work from the rest of the school and from other schools.
Also we made 3d sculptures of the animals, using pipe cleaners and tin foil.
The children have found this work very interesting and have worked hard to create their pieces of art.
We will try to display this beautiful work in the school- keep a look out!
