Rosa Parks

Rosa Parks was an extremely inspirational lady and we did some fantastic information texts on how she empowered so many people to stand up for basic human rights.

 

Did you know she got arrested for refusing to leave her seat when she was asked?

 

In addition to some fantastic work in books, this topic also sparked some fantastic discussion in our Philosophy for Children lessons where the children talked about equality and law.
