Using the picture below as a prompt, write a creative story about what scared you (the giraffe) so much that you had to climb up the tree. Maybe you were chased by something that wanted to eat you or maybe it is something even scarier or weirder! Remember to include some of the Year 4 writing objectives in your writing:
- fronted adverbials (with commas after!)
- expanded noun phrases and prepositional noun phrases
- paragraphs
- joined handwriting
- include some of the Year 3/4 100 words (spelt correctly!)
- have some fun with your ideas!
