What an amazing term we have ahead of us. Not only are we going on our exciting trip to the Natural History Museum, Oxford, we are also investigating dinosaurs and how they compare to us.

In class, we received an email from Fred Flintstone asking us to help him design and build an enclosure for the troublesome Dino. We will be looking at the different materials we can use to build and conducting experiments to test their strength. At the end of the topic, we will be building our own model enclosures so if you have any boxes we could use, no matter the size, please send them into school with your child.

Chinese New Year

We learnt all about Chinese New Year and the traditions surrounding it. We tried to eat prawn crackers using chopsticks, which was challenging.

I.C.T -Coding

In I.C.T this term we have been focusing on improving our coding skills. As part of this we have looked at binary code; what it is and how it is used. We used binary code to make beaded keyrings that spell out our initials.
