What an amazing morning we have had! There was growth mindset oozing out on the field as our children joined many others who got up early to attend the John William Stacey Memorial Cross Country Race at RAF Benson today.
Despite the extremely cold and damp weather (we do 'Extreme' very well at RAF Benson) children ran really well and were very well supported by their parents.
Our fabulous PTA team worked tirelessly in ensuring that 'Operation Cross Country' went without a hitch and that all spectators were fed and watered with coffee, tea and deliciously warm bacon baps!
We sadly had to say a final 'thank you' to Mrs Irwin as she will be leaving our Cross Country Team and this was her last event. The children did make her feel very proud by coming third overall!
