Autumn 2: We are an Island

We are an Island!

This term we are expanding our view from the local area to the rest of the United Kingdom. In this geography-led term we will recap our knowledge of the continents and oceans, before looking more closely at the seas which surround the UK.

In science, will be learning about the basic survival needs of animals, including humans, and linking offspring to the adult animals. We will consider the importance of exercise, a balanced diet and good hygiene, and how our changing planet is impacting the survival needs and biodiversity of our habitats, linking back particularly to our seas.

Our work will be showcased as a display board in school this term. Look out for it next time you are in!
