We are geography-led this term, further developing our understanding of seasonal and daily weather patterns in the United Kingdom, and the location of hot and cold areas of the World in relation to the Equator and the North and South Poles. We will then link this to key human features and land use.
In science, we are learning about the basic survival needs of animals, whilst considering the importance of exercise, a balanced diet and good hygiene.
Linking across both subjects, we will be thinking about the bigger question of how our changing planet is impacting the survival needs and biodiversity of our habitats – a theme which is picked up on within English, with a series of texts highlighting the need to be aware of how people impact, and can support, our environment.
