STARTER: Coke & Mentos!

We kicked off "How Stuff Works!" with an exciting experiment involving Coke and Mentos. We investigated which

 mint would make the biggest explosion. 

We had a go at thinking about how they think the Diet Coke and Mentos works. Then we found out the real reason.

Finally we investigated how to make the "Geysers" go further. 

We hope you enjoy looking through our work, pictures and videos. 

Here are the bottles of Coca Cola and the different types of sweets/mints we originally investigated with. Did you know that Polo's have a bigger Geyser than Mentos!?
