Competition news!

Exciting news!

 

Next week (week beginning 18th April 2016) the Royal Mint have kindly agreed to support a competition which we will be running in our classes. 

 

To celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday, and to complement our learning about money in Maths, we will be designing a special commemorative coin each. We will then post our entries to the Education and Learning department of the Royal Mint who will judge the entries from both classes and have kindly agreed to provide a commemorative £5 coin (as shown in the picture below) to the winner from each class.

 

We will be completing our entries in school time but we wanted to take this opportunity to share the exciting news with you through our webpage.
