Cafe Italia - Apache Class
In Term 1, Merlin Class became Lord Alan Sugar's 'Young Apprentices' and set up an Italian themed cafe to raise money for 'Help For Heroes'. Along the way, we learned lots about the maths and literacy skills needed for running a business as well as becoming experts on Italy.
During the afternoons of the cafe itself, the children transformed in to a professional team of waiters, chefs, cashiers and health and safety inspectors (!) ensuring that all our customers could sit back and relax with their delicious home made pizza and ice cream.
