We are really excited to welcome you all to Griffin class and have lots of amazing things planned to make our learning fun.

Reading - We love reading in Griffin Class! It is really important that you bring in your reading record every day so you can read and change books. Please also try to read for a few minutes every day at home and write it down in your reading record.
Snack - Each day, please bring a bottle of water and we will provide a piece of fruit for break time.
PE - PE kits need to be in school from Monday to Friday because PE days often change due to weather. Where possible we will be doing PE outside so please have appropriate kit for the weather.
Homework- This will be given out every Monday and is to be returned by Thursday. It will include English and Maths work based on what we have been learning in class or what we are about to learn. Weekly spellings will be sent out on a Monday and should be returned on the Friday ready for our test.
If any parents have queries we are always happy to talk, however due to current restrictions we ask that you contact the office to make an appointment. If there are any problems during the day we will phone you after 3.30pm on that day.
