Term 4 - African Animals
This term our topic will be African Animals! We will be learning about and creating our own information texts about African Animals. We will also be making some animal poems. We will continue to focus on the use of capital letters, finger spaces and full stops in our writing. In Maths, we will be following the new curriculum and will build on the learning we have done in term 3, on our adding and subtracting. We will gain more experience in measuring weight, length and capacity. We will do investigations that improve our problem solving skills.
In Geography, we will compare our country to an African country and find out what it is like to live there. In Science we will learn about different habitats and the creatures that live in them. We will think about food chains and what makes something a living thing.
If any parents have visited Africa and have exciting photos or experiences that they would like to share, please do bring them on so we can share them with the children!
