Autumn Term 2: Fabulous Festivals
Fabulous Festivals
This term we will be celebrating festivals from not only our own community but from around the world.
To start with, we will explore Bonfire Night along with the sights and sounds associated with it.
After this, we will mark Remembrance day and reflect on the significance of this event.
Following Remembrance, we will learn about Diwali, the festival of light, and the story of Rama and Sita.
Towards the end of the term, we will focus on advent and all things Christmassy.
We will look closely at our familiar traditions at this time of year and explore how other countries celebrate the same festivals.
