BRILLIANT BODIES
This term we will be focusing our learning on the Human Body. Our main topic this term is science, where we will be learning about how humans and some other animals have skeletons and muscles, and how they help us. We will also be thinking about nutrition and how what we eat can effect our bodies.
In history, we will be learning about some significant individuals, who are known for their work in medicine. As part of this we will be looking at the life of Mother Teresa and why she is still remembered today. Children will be using books, internet and historical resources to research her life and achievements.
We will be exploring bodies and their form further in an art project linked to the work of Alberto Giacometti.
