In term 3 we learnt about the fascinating world of the dinosaurs. Year 2 have an amazing ability to work as a team and carry out research. Knowing this we decided as a class the areas which we would like to learn about, some of the areas chosen to look at are the different periods of time which they existed, where they existed in the world and the theories behind how they became extinct.
The children already excelled themselves when it came to creating our role play area as it took them a mere two afternoons to design and create a giant Tyrannosaurus Rex. The most pleasing aspect had to be that they worked impeccably as a team, ensuring that each section was in proportion.
