We will be holding a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday, 27th September, from 8:30-10:00 am, in the Wessex Room.
Macmillan Cancer Support has been helping those with cancer and their families for over 100 years. They take time to understand an individual's needs and help them to live their lives as fully as they can, with financial, physical and emotional support from the moment of diagnosis.
Every 2 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. There are over 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK today and this is set to grow to almost 4 million by 2030.
Macmillan is almost entirely funded by donations and simply cannot support the growing number of people with cancer who need them without the public's help. "The World's Biggest Coffee Morning" is their biggest fundraising event and last year raised £26,914,382 - they hope to beat that this year!
