Christmas Fair 2019

We are very excited to be planning our annual Christmas Fair which is taking on Wednesday 27 November 2019 at 4:30pm and we are looking forward to seeing you all there!

Below you will find some information about the evening which we hope you will find useful.

The evening will start at 4:15pm with our school choir singing a number of festive favourites to get us all in the mood. The Fair will open at 4:30pm and close at 6:30pm.

Christmas Grotto Experience

We are really lucky to be expecting Father Christmas to be in his grotto again this year and have some lovely activities planned for children to complete before stepping into the magical grotto to hear a story from Father Christmas. The experience will take place in the Year 5 classroom leading into the ICT suite.

So that we are able to plan ahead, all places for the Grotto Experience need to be booked and paid for in advance and please be aware that, due to popularity, we may not have any free sessions to offer to children on the night. To book your place, please see the link and complete the form:  https://forms.gle/zMP4N1Kgb219dUPv5

Christmas shop

This is a highly popular part of our Christmas fair. Whilst adults wait outside, Children enter the Year 4 classroom and, with help from a member of staff, they select special gifts for the adults in their family. The gifts are then lovingly wrapped and labelled all ready to pop under the tree. Gifts cost £2 each. If you have any items you would like to donate to the Christmas shop suitable for mum or dad presents, please drop them into the school office.

Book Fair

The library will house the book fair which is great for a few stocking fillers and presents to get whilst the children are browsing around the rest of the fair. The school receives commission on the books sold so by purchasing books at the fair will also support in buying books for the school library.

Christmas Market

This takes place in the hall which is filled with class stalls, festive face painting, games, delicious food and prosecco. We will also have our enormously popular Chocolate tombola and will be asking children to bring in chocolate items in return for being in non-uniform on Monday 25 November. The classes will also be making items to sell to see which class can raise the most per pupil so any help you can give them; we know they will very much appreicate!

Christmas Raffle

A highlight of our fair is always the Christmas raffle with cash prizes. The tickets will be issued during the week of 11th November and we ask that they are returned with any monies by Monday 25 November. The raffle will be drawn at 6:15pm. Good luck to everyone!
