  • find out where the different Anglo-Saxon tribes came from
  • understand why they decided to come to Britain
  • explore what life was like in Anglo-Saxon times
  • learn how the kingdoms were ruled
  • find out about King Alfred the Great
  • learn how they wrote using runes
  • find out about what happened at Sutton Hoo 
  • dye clothing with dyes the Anglo-Saxons would have used
  • find out about the Anglo-Saxon diet and make some foods they would have eaten
