Spring 2: Topsey, Turvey Tales.

Topsy Turvy Tales

This term we will be looking at Traditional Tales with a Twist! You will notice that all our tales have links to the environment or the food we eat. We are really looking forward to World Book Day and our trip to Fairytale Farm.

In class, we will discover what happened to the giant after Jack climbed down the beanstalk, explore how the Wolf's forest in Little Red Riding Hood is being damaged and find our what happened to the Three Bears before Goldilocks arrived and ate their porridge.

Below are this term's knowledge organiser and topic web.

We had a blast on our trip to Fairytale Farm!

World Book Day is one of our favourite days of the year! Can you guess who everyone dressed up as?

We have been learning about the importance of trees, in the construction area we created our own trees.

A Giant left his boots int he classroom! We tried them on to see if they would fit us but they were too big.

We read the book A New Chair for Baby Bear and felt sad for baby bear so we made him a new chair following our specification.

We loved using our fine motor skills to make a bird box for our garden in Forest School.
