All Aboard for an Amazing Adventure
Grab your suitcase and your passport, we are off on an amazing adventure.
-Get ready to time travel back to the past to see penny farthings and steam trains.
-We will learn all about the brave Amelia Earheart and her daring adventures in the sky as well as Vincent Van Gogh and his railway carriage paintings.
-From Gondolas in Venice to dogs and sleds in Canada, we will be exploring the different ways people travel in unique places.
-Into space we will journey as we become astronauts.
-From launching our own rockets to creating our own moving vehicles we will be getting creative and as always using our imagination.

After reading the 100 Decker Bus, we created our own buses thinking about what would make them unique and selecting appropriate wheels.
An alien crash landed in our classroom, it was the beginning of an amazing adventure! The alien hatched and left slime for us to play with. It then filled our classroom with pants. Finally, after we sent the alien home it left us a present of a new book and space jelly for snack.
We decorated the underpants the alien left us, like the ones we saw in our book Aliens Love Underpants.
To help the alien return to its home planet, we had to train as astronauts using our fine motor skills.
We worked in teams, to build and launch rockets to send the alien back to its home planet.
We had a great time taking the bus to Waitrose and buying our ingredients for cooking.
We used our ingredients to make pancakes!
In R.E we have been learning about celebrations in other cultures. We learnt all about the Great Race story of Chinese New Year.
In our PHSE lessons, we have been learning about perseverance, we had to keep trying when balancing marbles on golf tees and throwing balls into buckets.
We have been really busy in the construction area this term.
