  • As term draws to a close...

    Wed 18 Dec 2019

    Dear Parents,

As we enter our last afternoon of this term, we have the various classes undertaking a number of activities and I have Gazelle class outside my office testing their balloons to see which ones will safely bring an egg down to earth. Their cheers and laughter is great to hear however, all I will say is please tread carefully along that stretch after school.....

I just wanted to write to you all to thank you so much for your support this past term from donating to the many causes we supported (including our own!) and attending meetings and workshops put on to support you. We have had many activities and events which add so much to the experiences that our children have with us here at RAF Benson Primary School and your support with these really means a lot to us all. Thank you also for your generosity to staff this Christmas - thank you for the cards with kind words and gifts to the staff team - they are all very much appreciated.

We have a fabulous spring term planned when we return in the new year and please keep an eye on the school website over the holiday for updates and photos!

I am just off to ready ourselves for the final event of 2019 - Carols Around the Tree - to which you are most warmly welcome to attend however, if we do not see you, on behalf of our children, Staff and Governors, we wish you a very merry Christmas and a Peaceful and happy New year whether you are here in Benson or away in other locations. We hope you have time to celebrate the festivities with family and friends and we look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday 6th January in 2020 - a new and exciting decade!

    Merry Christmas!

    Best Wishes
