  • Charity Challenge Day

    Mon 15 Jul 2019

You will have seen that we have a Charity Challenge Day in our school diary and this morning the children had a top secret email shared with them about what they will be doing to raise money for a charity.

Children in KS1 will undertake a Skipathon, children in Years 3 and 4 will be opening a pop-up restaurant (invites have been sent to parents of children in Years 3 & 4) and Year 5 and 6 will have a 'dance off'.

The challenge is for each Key Stage to raise the most money for their charity and the winning Key Stage will be announced in the Achievement Assembly on Wednesday of this week.  Below you will find the links to the charity pages.

Please feel free to share these links far and wide to help our children raise as much as they can in 48 hours

  • Sports Day - Friday 12 July 2019

    Thu 04 Jul 2019

As you are aware, Sports Day is taking place on Friday 12 July. Parents are welcome from 9.15 am onwards.  There will be class dances followed by races and then a picnic lunch  -  parents are welcome to stay for the picnic however, you will need to provide your own lunch.  If you have not ordered a lunch for your child, they will need to bring a packed lunch from home. The deadline for ordering a school packed lunch is 11 pm on Sunday 7th July 2019 and orders need to be placed via www.eduspot.co.uk. Due to the picnic taking place there will be no hot school meals provided. If parents wish to stay for lunch, please sit with your youngest child and we will send any older children to join you. We envisage the picnic ending at 12:30 pm when all children will return to the playground.

Children will need to wear their school uniform to school and bring their PE kit with them.  They will also need to bring their water bottle, packed lunch (if you have not ordered one) and sun hat.  Please remember to apply sun cream to your child before they come to school.  The event will take place on the field.  There will be a designated area for adult spectators.

Photographs - if you wish to take photographs, please ensure that in order to comply with GDPR, you only take photographs of your own children.

We look forward to seeing you.
