• Tea Towels - Mother's Day

  Our fantastic school Tea Towel designed by the children makes the perfect Mother’s Day gift for mums and grandmas. You can view the fantastic self portraits on our website (see below). Available to purchase on the eduspot shop for just £6 and if you order before midday on Friday 25 March they will be sent home with your child in time for the weekend.  Please note that the tea-towel was designed in December 2021 so if your child has joined our school after December their picture is not  included.

• Cross Country Races - 5 March 2022

  Calling all keen runners!

   

  The last cross country race of the season will be taking place on Saturday 5^th March at:

  All children in Years 1-6 are welcome! No pre-entry, just turn up on the day and enjoy the run. Each child will run in one race and there are separate races for girls and boys, times below. Wear school PE kit and trainers and bring a water bottle. There will also be a cafe.

   

  Our PTA has kindly paid the affiliation fee, so the races are free to enter. They are asking for a £2 carpark donation for the Royal Berkshire Hospital Cardiac Department.

   

  If it has been very wet beforehand, there will be no parking on the school field. When the hard standing has been filled, you will need to park in the nearby village and walk up.

  Year 1  10:00 am

  Year 2  10:15 am

  Year 3  10:40 am

  Year 4  11:00 am

  Year 5  11:15 am

  Year 6  11:30 am

   

  This is the 15^th year for this race. It is well organised and attracts many children from local schools. Why not have a go, and do tell your teacher how it went!

  The PTA Krispy Kreme cart is coming to town again! £1 per doughnut. All doughnuts must be pre-ordered and purchased through eduspot.co.uk Please order total number of doughnuts required through your eldest child. We will not be selling any doughnuts on the day so please get your orders in by Midday on Thursday 25th November

• Open Session for Parents of Children Starting School in September 2022

  We are holding an Open Sessions for parents of children who will be starting school in September 2022.  Unfortunately due to the Covid restrictions we have in place at this time, we are unable to offer in-person tours of our school.  A virtual tour can be found on our website under the 'About Us' tab.

   

  If your child was born between 1 September 2017 and 31 August 2018 and you are interested in a place in our Reception class in September 2022, please click on the link below and complete the form to register for one of our virtual sessions.

   

  The sessions will take place on Tuesday 16 November 2021 at 10.30 am and at 5.00 pm via Zoom.  A link will be sent via email to parents before the meeting.

• Ordering School Uniform - Deadline is 1 August 2021

  Please ensure you place orders for school uniform by the 1 August 2021 deadline to ensure your items arrive before the start of the new school year.  All orders need to be placed directly with our supplier at www.brigade.uk.com.  A sizing chart can be found on our school website (About Us/School Uniform tabs).

• World Book Day - Thursday 4 March 2021

  As World Book Day falls during the time that we are still continuing home learning, we would like families to select their favourite book and decorate a window at the front of their house turning the streets into a wonderful journey through books.  It would be good to see how many windows can be identified when out on daily exercise.  Photos can be sent into the Home Learning email account for us all to see.

• Applications for Reception - September 2021

  If your child was born on or between 1 September 2016 and 31 August 2017, you need to apply for a primary school place.

  The deadline for applying is 15 January 2021.

• Brigade Clothing - School Uniform Orders

  Parents Direct Delivery to Home Service - order by 7th December for delivery before 31st December.  Orders received after this date will be delivered week commencing 11th January 2021.

   

  Christmas Closure - Brigade Clothing will be closed from midday on Thursday 24th December until Monday 4th January 2021.
