Space Race
To introduce our topic we went back to the beginning of space travel and we learnt about the Space Race.
Underneath our chairs were stickers with either the American or Soviet Union flag. We had to get to that team and complete challenges. We were competing against each other like they did back in the 1950's.
Who was going to be the first country to space?
Which team would you choose to go on?
Ask Year 5 about the Space Race as we had a great afternoon learning all about it!
