Battle of Britain Day 2015

A great day was had on Tuesday 15th September where the school was transported back to the 1940 to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

As you can see in our gallery we had spitfire and hurricane pilots, land girls and evacuees to name but a few. Children learnt about why we were celebrating such a special day and remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The day was finished superbly by seeing 4 spitfires and 2 hurricanes as part of the Battle of Britain flypast - fabulous!
