Welcome to Merlin class!
This year, your teacher will be Miss Gibson and your teaching assistant will be Mrs Whitty. We have lots of exciting learning planned!
Key information
Drink and snack: Please make sure you bring a water bottle every day and a healthy snack to have during the morning break. This could be fruit, yoghurt or cheese.
Reading: Please read as often as you are able to at home and write in your reading record when you do, so that we can look at this and further support you at school.
P.E. kits: Please bring your P.E. kit to school on a Monday and take it home on a Friday. This will need to be suitable for indoor and outdoor lessons.
Spellings: We will be learning a range of strategies as well as the Year Five Common Exception words. A list of these words is in your reading record, so it would be great if you looked at these at home! We will highlight the words you can accurately spell when you are tested on these.
