Welcome to Year 1. Mrs Clarke is the class teacher and Mrs Wales supports our learning in the mornings and Mrs Davis in the afternoons,
PE is on a Thursday and Friday but children need to have their PE kits in school at all times as we sometimes have PE at other times, for example taster sessions.
The children are asked to bring a healthy snack to school to eat at morning break i.e. fruit, yoghurt, cheese strings and need a drink of water in a named bottle.
Homework is sent out on a Monday - English, Maths and spellings in red homework books. Please return these on Thursday's. Spelling tests will be in the homework books to enable you to see the children's progress.
Reading - children are encouraged to take their reading books home every night to practice. Regular reading at home makes a huge difference.
