Around the World in Term 2

This term, we have been focusing heavily on World War 1 and 2. 

We have a lot of fun discovering the causes of World War 1 and the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. 

We discovered the symptoms of Trench Foot, what causes and how to treat it. 

We have also learnt about what life was like in the trenches (and where the trenches were) and we wront diary entries from Soldiers on the front line. 

 

We have lots of exciting pieces of work coming up...such as trench cake, plastic bottle poppies as well as some Blitz artwork.
