We have had a very busy term learning all about space - 'To Infinity and Beyond'. We have learnt about Neil Armstrong and his landing on the moon, as well as learning about different planets, The Space Race, Apollo 13 and Tim Peake's visit to the International Space Station.
In Year 5 we love to sing so please listen out for us especially as we start to learn some space songs!
In Music we have learnt about the different planets and their properties. We matched musical instruments to represent the planets. We had a great time performing to parents and Key Stage 2 at the end of term for our topic outcome. We hope you enjoyed the assembly as much as we did performing!
