This term is all about plants and gardens. You will be learning how to identify and describe the functions of different parts of flowering plants,explore what plants need to live and grow, investigate how water is transported in plants and the role of flowers in a plants life cycle. All of this information will be useful when writing your instructions on how to care for plants in English. In Geography you will discover that water is not just important for plants, and why we need to conserve it. In DT, all of this knowledge will also be important when designing a new garden for the area outside our classroom.
This term is also the beginning of something everyone in Year 3 has been looking forward to....swimming lessons!! These start this term. A date will be confirmed by letter later in the term . They will take place on Thursday mornings at Berinsfield Sports Centre.
