Spring 1 - Revolting Royals

Welcome to our third topic - REVOLTING ROYALS!

 

 

This term we will

  • go on a fantastic trip to Oxford Castle where we will use our senses to understand what it was like to live in a castle
  • learn about British monarchs of the past and put them in chronological order
  • discuss what it takes to be a good monarch
  • learn about some gruesome jobs people had to do for the Royal Family
  • design, make and evaluate our own crowns
  • paint self-portraits in a traditional royal portrait style 
  • design a menu for a royal banquet
