Welcome to the Year 3 page! Below you will find important information and updates for what is happening in our class.
Your teachers this year are Mr. Neighbour, Mrs. Wales and Mrs. Walshe.
Homework
All homework is handed out on a Monday and is to be returned on a Thursday.
You will be given English, Maths and Spellings. Please take some time to look through the homework early enough in the week so if child or adult is in anyway unsure about the tasks set, there is time for us to support. Please communicate any difficulties with the adults in Puma by arranging to meet with us before or after school or by writing us a note. We are more than happy to help!
P.E.
Please bring a P.E. kit in on a Monday and then returned home on a Friday.
Reading
In addition to the set home learning, please could you support your child by hearing them read aloud for at least 10 minutes per day and by asking them questions about the text to develop their comprehension skills. Please initial in the Reading Record to show that they have read, or discussed the book. Children need to ensure that their reading book and Reading Record is in school every day.
