Summer Term 1 - Road to Rome
Road to Rome!
Welcome back, we hope that you had a lovely Easter and enjoyed lots of yummy chocolate!
This term our topic is called 'Road to Rome'.
In English we will be learning about autobiography and discussion writing through Myths and Quests. Our work will be based around the Roman myth, Romulus and Remus. We will be focusing strongly on spelling this term, so please continue to learn your 100 Year 3/4 words at home and put in extra effort with spellings for our weekly tests.
In Maths we will be continuing to learn about the four operations, formal and mental methods and will incorporate roman numerals.
In Topic we will be learning all about the Romans and their way of life, we will also be learning about mosaics. In science we will be learning about the digestive system and teeth.
