Term 4 - Ancient Greece
What an exciting term we have ahead of us
We will start the exciting term by having a WOW afternoon where children will make their own Gable decoration! The Greeks decorated roofs and gables of buildings and grand tombs with carved sculptures called acroteria. They were made from stone, marble or painted terracotta. We will be making our Gable decoration from pottery.
We will be celebrating our end of term topic with a traditional Greek meal which you are invited to join us for. The date is yet to confirmed but it will be in the last week of term. We will also be performing our Greek dance that we will have learnt in our PE lessons.
