Castles & Crowns
During this exciting Topic we will be learning a lot, for instance; about The Battle of Hastings, The Bayeux Tapestry, how to build a castle, differences in castles and different kings and queens. Also, how people lived in medieval times, what life was like when England had no king or queen and the role of parliament, how to play medieval instruments and how to design and make historical tools.
In other areas of the curriculum we will be creating an eBook with illustrations that will be based on the works of Roald Dahl – as this year marks a commemorative year for him – learning about the human body and improving our P.E skills.
