Use the below PowerPoint to remind you of how Ordnance Survey maps and 4 figure grid references. Then using the map that is also below draw some of the features on the map where they belong (from yesterdays lesson) and then write down some questions using grid references.
Using google add some more famous North America landmarks. For example: the White House, Statue of Liberty, Grand Canyon etc.
Remember to draw a grid over the map and then number the LINES, the numbers should be 2 digit numbers on both the x and y axis.
