  • Sports Day - 29 June 2018

    Fri 29 Jun 2018

Sports Day - As you are aware, this event is taking place tomorrow (Friday 29 June). Parents are welcome from 9.15 am onwards.  There will be class dances followed by races and then a picnic lunch  -  parents are welcome to stay for the picnic however, you will need to provide your own lunch.  If you have not ordered a lunch for your child, they will need to bring a packed lunch from home.  Due to the picnic taking place there will be no hot school meals provided. If parents wish to stay for lunch, please sit with your youngest child and we will send any older children to join you. We envisage the picnic ending at 12:30 pm where all children will return to the playground.

Children will need to wear their school uniform to school and bring their PE kit with them.  They will also need to bring their water bottle, packed lunch (if you have not ordered one) and sun hat.  Please remember to apply sun cream to your child before they come to school.  The event will take place on the field.  There will be a designated area for adult spectators.

Photographs - if you wish to take photographs, please ensure that in order to comply with GDPR, you only take photographs of your own children.

We look forward to seeing you.

  • Summer Fair Information

    Wed 13 Jun 2018

As our Amazing Annual Summer Fair fast approaches we are looking for some donations to help support a couple of the stalls. Please see details below.

Firstly, you should have received your raffle tickets this week. There are spare ticket books in the school office for collection if you need more for your family and friends or wish to circulate amongst the Squadrons on the Station. We have some great prizes including the top cash prize of £100.

We are also looking for donations of bottles of wine for our very popular 'Wine or Water' stall at our Summer Fair. Please note that only adults should bring the bottles of wine to school and leave them at the school office. Donations of newspapers to wrap them would also be much appreciated!

Finally, we will be hoping to run the successful 'mug tombola' again this year and will need some donations of good condition mugs filled with goodies - sweets, smells, pencils or anything else creative (please no chocolate as it may melt!). As you will have seen in the newsletter, we have planned a 'non-uniform' day on Thursday 21st June in return for bringing in a marvellous mug!

Thank you so much for your support to this event - it looks set to be a great day!
