Vile Vikings

Our Autumn 2 focus is History where we will find out all about the Raiders and Invaders known as the Vikings. 

 

We will be delving into the lives of the Vikings and how they came to settle in Britain. We will be looking at their daily life, crimes and justice system as well as the many Anglo-Saxon Kings that tried to stop them. In design and technology we will be researching, designing and making a viking longship. 

 

                                                                              

 

In English we will set out on a quest with Beowulf to defeat the monster Gendel before using the narrative to create

our own characters and quest story. We will also be using the 'How to train your dragon' stories to write instruction texts.
