Spring is here and we begin our final full term.
Our topic for the Summer 1 term is Roaming Romans where we find out all about how Britain has been changed and influenced by the arrival of the Romans back around 43AD.

We will learn about the Roman Empire and the power of its army and the role of the soldier. We will learn about conquest and how it affected the British people and how their lives were changed.
Finally, we will learn how Boudica and her tribe fought back.
This topic work will also be supported by our very exciting residential trip to Hill End on the 5th of May!

Feel free to have a look at their website to get a flavour of the place and familiarise yourself with our visit.
Hill End: a multi-purpose outdoor and residential centre in Oxfordshire
The children get so much out of their visit to Hill End, not only strengthening their curriculum knowledge, but also by helping their development of independence skills and life skills.
There will be more information to follow in terms of an online session and lists for kit etc.
